The Sanchez family is not hurt after a car crashes into their living room in south Wichita.

"I saw a car in my dining room and I heard people telling me to get out," said Maricella Sanchez, who was sleeping in her home with her husband and son. "I was so confused. I was half asleep and scared and I just took my son out of the bed and ran outside."

Before midnight on Monday, officers spotted two vehicles believed to be stolen. The chase began after officers tried to stop the cars.

The stolen vehicle wrecked at 47th and Broadway and the suspect was taken into custody. The other vehicle also became involved in a chase.

"It's kind of rare to have two vehicle chases simultaneously," said Sgt. Brian Sigman. "The second chase was discontinued due to the fact that the speeds were pretty high going into the residential area."

Shortly after police ended the chase, they got a call of a vehicle that ran into a residence. The two suspects in the vehicle fled the scene and police are still looking for them.
