WICHITA, Kan.--- A group of 22 companies have joined the Together Wichita 2014 initiative to build community pride in Wichita.

"We as individuals feel really great about the community we live in, but we don't know if our neighbors do and we don't really talk to them about that either. So, what can we do to help people really start to voice why they live here and love it?," said Heather Denker, project manager of Together Wichita 2014.

The group is behind the "I live here, I love it" campaign, which has several billboards around Wichita. They also feature individuals, who give testimonials of why they love Wichita.

"They're great," said Jessica Brandt, resident. "I love Wichita so it's just great to just show some Wichita pride."

Together Wichita 2014 also funds projects to enhance the community.
