Admission to the Sedgwick County Zoo was closed Saturday because of a water line break.
A break shut down water to concessions and bathrooms initially forcing the zoo to postpone morning hours of admission. A spokeswoman later reported the zoo would close for the day.
The break did not cause above ground flooding because the leak is underground and officials say the animals were unaffected by the incident.
The Zoo will be open Sunday at 10:00, however, there will not be any running water. Zoo officals say they are bringing in handwashing stations as well as portable bathrooms. There will be bottled water to purchase.
The Gorilla Forest as well as the tram will be closed.
