GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KAKE) - The Garden City Police Department says they have arrested three people for their involvement in an aggravated assault after a prank at a local business on Sunday.

Police say officers were dispatched to 917 Herald Avenue (J&J Mobile Mechanic) on Sunday, March 24, for a possible aggravated assault. The investigation revealed that four juveniles attempted to pull a prank on an employee. After the prank, the employee and two other staff allegedly confronted the juveniles with firearms, took them into the business and held them at gunpoint. The employees also allegedly took the personal belongings of the juveniles and made several threats before letting them go.

Through further investigation, 25-year-old Jazmin Loya, Jesus Loya and Jose Bricullet, both 24, were identified as suspects and face charges from the incident.

On March 25, Jazmin Loya and Bricullett were arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail for aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, criminal threat and aggravated battery.

On March 26, Jesus Loya was arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail for aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, criminal threat, aggravated battery and aggravated intimidation of a witness or victim.

There were no injuries from the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
