WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police have arrested a woman in the shooting death of a 74-year-old man in southwest Wichita early Monday morning.

Sedgwick County Jail records show 67-year-old Donna Dietrich was booked shortly after 6 a.m. for second-degree murder. Her bond was set at $250,000.

Officers were called at around 12:45 a.m. to a shooting in the 3900 block of South Young, near MacArthur and West Street. They arrived to find the victim, Robert Mitchell, with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

Police said in a release that the suspect was still on scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody. Dietrich and Mitchell knew each other, and police said the incident was not random. 

Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the shooting.
