WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The goats from Restoration Grazing are back at work in Wichita.

In June, the City of Wichita enlisted the help of 130 goats to clear brush from Sim Park. The goats were released into a fenced in area to begin eating away at a problem that had been plaguing the park. Poison ivy, milkweed, and more were all devoured by the goats.

Beginning this Monday the goats will be released in Oak Park at 1100 W 11th St N in Wichita to start clearing 8 acres of overgrown weeds, poison ivy, and vegetation.

Wichita Park & Recreation said the goats will not interfere with disc golfers and people are welcome to come watch the goats at work.

The project is projected to take around a month.
