Man critically hurt in drive-by shooting southeast Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A man is expected to be okay after police say he was critically hurt in a potential drive-by shooting in southeast Wichita.
It happened just before 3:45 Tuesday morning in the 3900 block of E. Roseberry St., near Pawnee and George Washington Boulevard.
Police say a 19-year-old man was shot at least a couple of times. Police are now with him at the hospital where they say he is cooperating with their investigation.
Witnesses and the victim told police they heard a car drive by and six to eight shots being fired. Police say witnesses did not see the vehicle to provide a description of it or any suspects.
