WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 21-year-old Wichita man was sentenced to 60 months in prison for an aggravated robbery. 

Tairyce Jones pled guilty to the aggravated robbery on July 15 of 2022. Jones is one of four people charged in the shooting death of Jerome Armbeck and the robbery of Armbeck's brother during a drug deal in August of 2019.

At the time of the incident, police said a disturbance occurred between Armbeck, Jones, and another person when someone fired a gun multiple times and Armbeck was killed.

Jones was initially charged in juvenile court because he was 17 at the time of the incident but is now being prosecuted as an adult.
