Sheriff's office identifies man killed in motorcycle crash near Andover

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 32-year-old man was killed Sunday evening when his motorcycle and an SUV collided near Andover. 

The accident happened at around 9 p.m. at the intersection of East 21st Street and North Prairie Creek Road. The Butler County Sheriff's Office said a westbound Nissan Pathfinder made a left turn in front of an eastbound motorcycle and crashed into it. 

The driver of the motorcycle, Shane Bushey of rural Towanda, died at the scene. The 23-year-old woman driving the SUV had minor injuries. 

"It is not yet determined if alcohol was a factor," the sheriff's office said in a release Monday afternoon.
