ELK COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A teenager has died in Elk County after being thrown from a utility vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said that at 12:30 p.m. two teenagers were riding a UTV through a field when it flipped while turning, throwing a 15-year-old from the vehicle. The juvenile has not been identified. The 17-year-old driver of the UTV was uninjured.
