PHOENIX, AZ. (KAKE) - Blake Bell's journey to potentially being a two-time Super Bowl champion isn't a usual one, but it's something his family is loving every minute of.

"I mean, that was a dream come true and now that he's back another one here three years later I mean, you can't make it up it's an amazing story," said Mark Bell, Blake's dad and former NFL player.

The Bell family has a legacy in the NFL, his father mark played six years in the league and his uncle Mike played over a decade for the Chiefs. They know how rare this is.

"Well, you know, the odds of playing the NFL is hard," said Mike Bell,  a former NFL DE. "We all know that right? And Blake gets drafted from Oklahoma and he ends up in Kansas City, close to home, like Mark said, a place, where I played, so it has a special place for me as well. And so here we are with the second Super Bowl in Arizona and we brought the families all the families this time we know how special this moment is."

Just like his dad and uncle, Bell starred at Bishop Carroll, as a quarterback there, before he took his talents to Oklahoma and made the switch from QB to tight end and had NFL scouts impressed and his family is still in awe they're here.

"We should take Blake on the field. We're a little and now we circle alive. Here we are. We're at the Super Bowl. Blake is awesome," said Mike Bell.

Mark and Mike know he needs to cherish this moment, even if it seems like the Chiefs are destined to always get in the big game with Mahomes under center.

"It's totally not normal. I mean, to be in this special moment here at the super bowl is way not normal. So we're soaking it all up as Mike said, and we're so proud of blake and what he's accomplished," said Mark Bell.

After Carroll, to OU, and finally the Chiefs for multiple stops. Blake has never been far from home for long and he keeps showing out for Wichita.

"We're so proud of blake being here at the biggest game in the world, being from Wichita, us being from Wichita Bishop Carroll, and just right down the road where I played where Blake is playing," said Mike Bell. "Now we're here to watch him in the biggest game. It's pretty awesome."
