MAIZE, Kan. (KAKE) - Former Maize QB and future K-State Wildcat Avery Johnson has announced his first major NIL deal.

Johnson revealed that he has an agreement with Robbins Motor Company, which is a car dealership that has locations in Manhattan, Junction City, Topeka, the Flint Hills, and surrounding areas of Central Kansas.

As a part of the deal, Johnson received his very own “Smoke Show” colored Dodge Charger. In the deal, Jonhson doesn't get to keep the car, but he'll be able to trade it in and upgrade has his career goes on at KSU. 

Speaking with ON3NIL, Aaron Robbins spoke about his excitement for the deal.

“Avery is a great face and name for our store. He has a huge following, and he’s a great young man. We are honored to be able to help him on his path to reaching his goals in college and beyond.”

According to ON3NIL, Johnson has a NIL valuation of $237,000, which is the 27th-best valuation among high school football players in the 2023 class.
