WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police are hoping someone will recognize suspects in a south side shooting.

Police say it happened just after midnight on October 22 in the 500 block of east Boston, which is near Harry and Broadway.

Security video shows three people walking by, then you can hear several gunshots.

Some of the bullets hit a house. A short time later a man inside that house showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Now the police are looking for the three people.

"They know people in the community, people know them,” said Wichita Police Officer Trevor Macy. “It's likely they told somebody where they were, and if someone has knowledge about that night, it could be that little piece of information that will help us identify these guys."

Police say this one is tough to solve because this was a walk-by shooting, not a drive-by shooting.

“If we don't have a vehicle, it's hard to identify,” said Macy. “It's dark out. They were wearing hooded shirts."

If you have any information, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111. You could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.
