Wichita Police are looking for answers from the public in a shooting that left two people dead.   The shooting happened early Saturday in the 2200 block of North Market.

The investigation revealed  24-year-old Manuel Otano-Hernandez was with two other men in an alley, shooting a gun into the air.

Another group was in a nearby backyard when a disturbance started.   Otano-Hernandez was shot in the abdomen.   36-year-old Jesse Villalobos was shot in the leg.  Both died from their wounds.

Police say the men did not know each other and the shooting isn't gang related.  The men are Wichita's 34th and 35th homicide victims of 2018.
