The Kansas Stars advanced to the NBC World Series semi-finals for a second straight year Friday night with an 11-3 win over the Derby Twins.

The Stars took an early 1-0 lead with a Brandon Inge solo home run in the second inning, only to give up three runs to the Twins in the third due to some poor fielding efforts.

Derby's luck would run out in the fifth when Twins pitchers walked three straight batters with the bases loaded to tie the game, and Delwyn Young cleared the bases with a three RBI double.

The group of former pros finished the route in the 7th inning with an 11-3 run-rule and will face the winner between Mulvane and Cheney on Saturday.
