NEWTON, Kan. (KAKE) - USD 373 has announced their free summer meal program for kids aged 0 to 18 will begin Monday.

Newton Public Schools says free breakfast and lunches will be available for children this summer at two different locations: Sunset Elementary at 619 Boyd Avenue and Newton High School at 900 W 12th Street. 

Breakfast at Sunset Elementary will go from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and breakfast at the high school will run from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. 

Lunches at both locations will go from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. All meals are served daily, except on July 4. 

The program will last from June 10 to July 26.
