KU and K-State will open the 2024 football season with night games.   The Big 12 Conference released game times for the first three weeks of the season.

KU will open the season Thursday, August 29th with a game against Lindenwood.   The game kicks off at 7:00 pm in Kansas City.   Kansas State opens at home on August 31 against Tennessee-Martin.   It is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start.

Week two has both teams on the road.  Kansas plays at Illinois on Saturday, September 7th.   It's a 6:00 pm kickoff and will be shown on FoxSports 1.  K-State has an 11:00 a.m. matchup against Tulane.  That game will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

Both Kansas teams have Friday night matchups in week 3.  Arizona travels to Manhattan to face K-State.  It's a 7:00 pm start on Fox.   Kansas returns to Kansas City for a rematch with UNLV.   The game begins at 6:00 pm and can be seen on ESPN.  KU defeated UNLV in last season's Guaranteed Rate bowl game.  

Conference start times will be released during the season.
