WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 25-year-old man has pleaded guilty to killing one person and wounding six others in a shooting at a Wichita nightclub in 2021

The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said Keshawn Dawson on May 13 enter the plea on charges of reckless second-degree murder and six counts of aggravated battery. He was previously charged with first-degree murder.

It was around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, when officers responded to a shooting call at Enigma Club & Lounge in Old Town. Police said Dawson got into a fight at the club earlier that night and was forced to leave. Dawson returned a short time later and fired multiple rounds into the club from the outside.
