AUGUSTA, Kan. (KAKE) – A $5,000 Governor's Reward is being offered for anyone that provides information that can lead to the arrest of who was responsible for the death of a 93-year-old woman last fall.

Joanne Johnson was found dead by a family member inside her Augusta home on September 3, 2023. Authorities believe she was killed between that Saturday evening, September 2, and Sunday evening, September 3.

In addition to the aforementioned Governor's Reward, Johnson's family has offered to match it, increasing the total reward to $10,000.
