JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - Authorities with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department say 27-year-old actor Cole Brings Plenty has been found dead.

 Deputies were dispatched Friday morning to the area of 200th and Homestead Lane in reference to an unoccupied vehicle. 

Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle. The man was identified as Cole Brings Plenty. 

Brings Plenty was best known for his role in the "Yellowstone" spinoff "1923".  Brings Plenty was also a student at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence.  He was last seen in Lawrence Sunday.  

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information should contact the Johnson County Sheriff's Office at 913-782-0720.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KAKE) - Lawrence police say they are searching for "1923" actor Cole Brings Plenty following an alleged domestic violence incident on Easter morning.

The department an affidavit has been submitted to the Douglas County district attorney for Brings Plenty's arrest. The alleged incident happened an an apartment complex in Lawrence, but a specific location was not revealed. 

"We’ve identified him as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies," the Lawrence Police Department said.

Officers responded to reports of a woman screaming for help, but the 27-year-old suspect fled before officers arrived. 

"The investigation identified Brings Plenty and traffic cameras showed him leaving the city immediately after the incident, traveling southbound on 59 Highway," LPD said. 

Brings Plenty’s family has contacted police to express concern and reported him as a missing person.

Brings Plenty was last known to be driving the 2005 Ford Explorer with Kansas tag 368PXB. If you see Cole Brings Plenty or his vehicle call 911.

"1923" is a spinoff of "Yellowstone," on which Cole's uncle, Mo Brings Plenty, stars.
