SALINE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A Virginia man died in a crash late Sunday night in Saline County. 

Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash occurred just after 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 70 about 12 miles west of Salina. A Toyota Camry, driven by Michael D. Fussell of Roanoke, Virginia, was eastbound on I-70 when it crossed the center median and struck a westbound Volvo semi.

Fussell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the semi were transported to Salina Regional Health Center with minor injuries. KHP says the driver of the semi was not wearing a seat belt.

Traffic was redirected for several hours after the crash.
