HAYSVILLE, Kan. (KAKE) - A fight between two students prompted a large police presence at Campus High School in Haysville on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The call for an officer in trouble came out shortly after 2 p.m. when school officials say a school resource officer assisting with a fight in a special education classroom requested additional backup while attempting to separate the students.

A spokesperson for Campus High School says the incident did not interrupt normal school operations and was isolated to one classroom.

The Haysville Police Department and the school administration are actively investigating the situation.
