Wichita police identify man killed in hit-and-run
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say investigators have located the vehicle connected to the hit-and-run death of a 31-year-old man last week.
Officers responded at around 10:40 p.m. Friday to the report of an assault at 13th and Mosley. They arrived to find Pedro Bautista injured on the sidewalk. He died at the scene.
"The investigation revealed that Pedro was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle, which has now been located by investigators," WPD spokesperson Kristopher Gupilan said Monday in a release.
Police did not provide additional information about the vehicle or who may have been driving. No arrests have been announced.
