Truck involved in Jackie Robinson statue theft found, WPD says
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say they have found the truck believed to have been used in the theft of Jackie Robinson's statue from McAdams Park.
During their investigations over the weekend, the Wichita Police Department said the Property Crimes Bureau found and recovered the truck during their investigation into the theft.
The WPD continue to look for the statue and say they have multiple promising leads.
The Wichita Park and Rec director says there are only four Jackie Robinson statues in the country and a $5,000 reward is being offered for recovery of the statue and a $2,500 reward for any information leading to it's recovery.
