WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Security camera footage from Thursday night shows a man rummaging through Iroh Business Investment in downtown Wichita, taking power tools, and other items used for the firm's various businesses.

Stoni Beauchamp is a partner with the firm, and said that this has been an ongoing issue since it moved to the location in 2018.

"We've had a constant stream both of this location and our new location of different issues," Beauchamp said. "We've had anything from major items stolen like trailers, to catalytic converters to break ins, of all different types."

One of the firm's businesses is ICT Lights, which always sees a huge increase in business this time of year.

Beauchamp said that these thefts are an unfortunate road block for a lot of work that needs to be done as the holidays approach.

"It's a matter of lost productivity, in addition to just the replacement costs for the tools and things like that. So, it really hits hard when you know, we have a season that we're trying to do 1000 houses of Christmas lights in a seven week span and it just makes it more difficult."

Beauchamp said that there have been a total of 15 break-ins at the property in the last five years.

He appreciates the help from area law enforcement to track down some of the thieves.

However, he says he doesn't see an end to the issue, and has even contemplated moving locations.

"We really like being centrally located. And I feel a sense of pride in downtown Wichita and the growth that it's seen. But at some point, it just becomes too much."

The business has put in security cameras, but that hasn't stopped the thieves. The man who broke in Thursday is still on the loose.

If you know anything about this case, call Crime Stoppers right away.
