WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Incumbent Becky Tuttle has been elected to the Wichita city council for district 2.

Tuttle, the only city council member who is not term limited, won 64% of the vote. Tuttle said public safety and addressing Wichita's police shortage are her top two priorities. Marcey Gregory, a former mayor of Goddard, won 32% of the vote. She, too, is wanting to focus on addressing Wichita's officer shortage, as well as public safety and homelessness. Engineer Hatim Zeineddine, who cites water stability, transportation and housing as his core issues, won 4% of the vote.
