BARBER COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - An Oklahoma man died Thursday after being struck by a train in his vehicle in south-central Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Wayne Rainey of Enid, Oklahoma was driving westbound in a tractor truck on K-2 just before 12 p.m. Thursday when he maneuvered around the railroad crossings and was struck by the train. 

Rainey died at the scene.
