Kansas woman indicted for bank robbery

TOPEKA, Kan. (KAKE) - A federal grand jury in Topeka returned an indictment charging a woman for robbing a bank in Topeka last month.
The U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas says 51-year-old Rodshell Nicole Mays is charged with one count of bank robbery. Mays is accused of using force or intimidation to take money from an employee at Capital Federal Bank on Southwest Topeka Boulevard on September 25.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Topeka Police Department are investigating the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Steve Hunting is prosecuting the case.
