HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE) - Two people are in the ICU after being hit by a car while leaving the Kansas State Fair.

The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. on Friday when a car traveling eastbound on State Fair Road going 40 MPH struck three members of the Musick family between gates 5 and 6.

 

According to a GoFundMe account set up for the family, 62-year-old Mike Musick, 55-year-old Kristen Musick and their grandson were taken to a local hospital for their injuries. Mike and Kristen are in the intensive care unit with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old Hutchinson man, did not suffer any injuries.
