WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police are looking into social media posts regarding threats believed to be against some Wichita schools.

Several people have shared the message with the KAKE News team, and the post claims violence will take place on Friday and Saturday.

KAKE News contacted Wichita Public Schools about what’s being shared. A spokesperson said the district and the Wichita Police Department are investigating the alleged threat, and it is not believed to be credible.
