WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A Wichita man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy in 2020. 

The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said 21-year-old Jakob Cuble was sentenced Wednesday to 181 months. He pleaded guilty last summer to second-degree murder and attempted aggravated robbery. 

On May 20, 2020, Marcus Sain was shot and killed during a drug transaction at Fox Run Apartments in the 1100 block of South Webb Road. Cuble was arrested about two weeks later. 

Two other men were charged in the case. Malcolm Ganther, 25, was sentenced in August to 123 months in prison for second-degree murder and aggravated battery. Nathaniel Saunders, 25, pleaded guilty in June to second-degree murder and aggravated battery. A sentencing date has not been set.
