Man recovering after shooting in north central Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - One man is recovering after suffering two gunshot wounds Sunday afternoon in north central Wichita.
Sedgwick County EMS was dispatched to the 900 block of N Minnesota shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday after reports of a shooting. Upon arriving, police say paramedics transported a 39-year-old man to the hospital with two gunshot wounds in his arm and lower torso.
Wichita Police Department spokesperson Juan Rebolledo confirmed there is no current danger to the public and while the suspect is currently unknown, it is believed the victim and the shooter knew each other.
