WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation says 200 sex traffic victims were recovered during a nationwide operation with assistance from local and state law enforcement.

The FBI-led initiative, "Operation Cross Country," was conducted in partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and focused on identifying and locating victims of sex trafficking and bringing those involved in both child sex and human trafficking to justice.
