WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A second of four people accused in the death of a man whose body was found in a car in 2020 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said 36-year-old Matthew Small was sentenced Thursday morning. He was charged with murder, aggravated kidnapping and weapons charges in the death of Roy Haden. 

Haden's body was found in a vehicle in the 1500 block of North Broadway on July 7, 2020. Court documents stated Haden died sometime between July 1 and July 6. 

Ariana Cook, 23, was sentenced in January to 184 months in prison for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping.

Also arrested in the case were Lawrence Bailey and Carlos Delgado. Bailey will be sentenced on August 25. KAKE News has reached out to the DA's office for more information in that case and the status of Delgado's case.

According to police, Haden's death was drug related. Small also received a 42-month sentence a separate case of drug and weapons possession.
