CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A Missouri woman was killed after her car was hit by a truck on Friday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says shortly after 4 p.m. 18-year-old Skylar Cauble was heading west on U160 when he overcorrected after failing to negotiate a curve and crashed into an oncoming car driven by 67-year-old Violet Knowles.

Knowles was pronounced dead at the scene.
