Netflix to begin cracking down on US account sharing

(KAKE) - The days of using your parent's Netflix login are coming to an end.
Netflix has put its long-talked-about plans into motion to charge for account sharing in the US.
The streaming giant has sent a message to customers letting them know that they need to pay $8 a month for people outside of the household using the account.
Deadline reports that you will be able to add one extra member with the standard plan and two more with the platinum tier.
It has always been in Netflix's terms and conditions that the account is limited to one household, but now they are actually enforcing the rule.
