Two missing boys found dead in two different Manhattan rivers

(CNN) - Two boys reported missing last week have been found dead in two separate Manhattan, New York, rivers.
The boys, one eleven and the other thirteen, were last seen together in Harlem between May 12 and May 13th.
Authorities say both of the boys were believed to be friends and police say they connected the two missing cases to one another.
Their bodies were found nearly two miles apart from one another.
The NYPD said the investigations into the boys' deaths remain ongoing.
The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death for each of the boys, an NYPD spokesperson said.
