WABAUNSEE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A man from Eskridge, Kan. was killed after crashing his car into a ditch just west of Topeka. 

The crash happened at 9:20 a.m. on May 16 at 29500 Keene-Eskridge Rd.

90-year-old Charles Thomas was going south on Keene Eskridge Rd. when he veered off to the west side of the road. This caused him to overcorrect across both lanes and crash into a ditch on the east side.

Thomas was taken to a nearby hospital where he died at 10:47 a.m.
