WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say Makenzee Wessley has been found safe.

Wichita police are asking for help in finding a missing 16-year-old girl who has epilepsy. 

The department said on Facebook that Makenzee Wessley ran away from home but did not provide a date and time. However, the post says she hasn't had her medication for 2.5 days. Makenzee has been diagnosed with epilepsy, which is brought on by heat. 

She was last seen wearing black clothing near 37th Street North and Hoover. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
