MISSING IN KANSAS: Silver Alert canceled for missing Kansas City woman
The Kansas City Police Department said they located Bessie Glass and have canceled the Silver Alert as of Friday.

There’s concern for an elderly woman reported missing from northeast Kansas.
The Kansas City Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Bessie Glass, 90, who was last seen on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at her home in the 3300 block of North 36th Street in Kansas City, Kan. Though, the last time she was in contact with someone was on the phone on Monday, May 8.
Living with an undiagnosed case of dementia, Bessie has a history of being confused and driving long distances from home, the police department shared in a Twitter post. She is likely driving a brown 2012 Buick LaCrosse with Kansas disabled tag 66154. She was last seen wearing sweats and a blouse. She likely will be wearing eyeglasses.
