WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A man connected to McConnell Air Force Base died in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Kellogg and I-235 on Friday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said that at 6:20 p.m. 21-year-old Russell Griffith was exiting Kellogg onto I-235 when he crashed into the ditch. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing. It is unclear what caused the crash.
