ANDOVER, Kan. (KAKE) - The 75-year-old woman who died from her injuries in the Andover house fire has been identified. 

The Andover Fire-Rescue Department says that the woman's name was Virginia Manchesian. The man who was rescued from the same fire has since been released from the hospital. 

“Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time,” said Andover Fire-Rescue Chief Chad Russell. “As a fire safety reminder, closing bedroom doors is vital to ensuring safety during a fire.”

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
