WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting. Officers were called to the 1300 block of South Edwards, near the intersection of Harry and Southwest Boulevard at 11:20 p.m.

Police found the body of 44-year-old Shawn Lahman in the front seat of a van. Lahman was found with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

"We're still up in the air on what the motive is behind this.  There's always a possibility that this was an act committed to this individual, but we're still, still trying to figure that part out," said Wichita Police Sgt. John Bogle.
