Kansas man dies after pickup crashes into road grader, patrol says

CONCORDIA, Kan. (KAKE) - Authorities say a 78-year-old man has died after his pickup truck crashed into a road grader in northern Kansas on Thursday.
The accident happened at around 9 a.m. at 5th and Bismark roads in Washington County. That's east-northeast of Concordia. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Douglas Toll was heading east on 5th Road and failed to yield at the stop sign. His Chevy S-10 then collided with a southbound Caterpillar motor grader.
Toll, of Clifton, died at the scene. The patrol's online crash log states he was not wearing a seat belt.
The 48-year-old man driving the grader was not hurt.
