Child writes heartfelt letter to Bill Self following health scare and gets response

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KAKE) - A 9-year-old fan of the Kansas Jayhawks took it upon himself to write to coach Bill Self after his recent health scare to wish him a fast recovery. 

9-year-old Kamden "KJ" wrote to Bill Self, who missed the entirety of the postseason this year due to a health complication, wishing him well and Self responded with a thank you note.

“Without your support, our team would not be able to make it through each and every season,” Self said. “If you keep practicing, maybe I will see you in a couple of years at the Allen Field House."
