Missing Texas woman found alive in Jeep submerged in lake
MAARION COUNTY, Texas (CNN) - What you see in the video is what a fisherman in Texas saw last week.
He realized what he was looking at was the top of a Jeep that was almost fully submerged, so he called police. The vehicle was too far out to safely wade into the water to investigate.
Police called a wrecker, and the fisherman used his boat to help hook a cable to the Jeep. That's when he realized there was a woman inside, and she was alive.
Marion County sheriff's deputies determined she had been listed as missing.
It's not known how long the woman spent in the water, but she confirmed it was at least several hours. She was treated for hypothermia and taken to a hospital.
