ABILENE, Kan. (KAKE) - Police in north-central Kansas have arrested an 18-year-old suspect more than a month after a 17-year-old girl died of a fentanyl overdose.
The Abilene Police Department said Monday that Daisy Skilling was booked into the Dickinson County Jail for distribution of a controlled substance causing death, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Police began investigating the 17-year-old's death on January 16, saying that the teen, whose name hasn't been released, died at a home North Kuney Street. An autopsy determined she died from fentanyl intoxication.
Skilling is being held on $150,000 bond.
