At around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, out-of-state hunters called 911 after finding human remains in a pasture.
Police from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office responded a mile south of Coyville, Kansas, near Decatur Rd. When they got there they found the human skeletal remains.
At this time, the person has not been identified. Due to the condition of the remains, police say positive identification is expected to take longer than in most cases.
