Man arrested in southwest Wichita bank robbery

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Brian Richards has been arrested following a bank robbery in southwest Wichita.
The 52-year-old from Wichita was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery.
Police say that at approximately 12:48 p.m. they responded to the robbery in the 2400 block of S. Seneca.
An employee of Emprise Bank said a man had passed a note to a clerk demanding money and claiming to have a weapon.
Officers obtained a description of the suspect and began checking the area in an attempt to find him.
The man was then found in a nearby McDonald’s and police took him into custody without incident.
