WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a 68-year-old man was killed in an industrial accident on the city's southwest side on Thursday. 

First responders were called at around 2 p.m. to an accident with a person pinned in the 3200 block of West May. They arrived an found David Adams of Towanda unconscious an not breathing. He died at the scene. 

Police spokesperson Chad Ditch said Adams had been working on a trailer and his coworkers came in and found him underneath the trailer with a portion of the axle on top of him. 

"Several coworkers helped remove Adams from underneath the axle and immediately called 911 and administered CPR," Officer Ditch said. 

No foul play is suspected.
